The Sunday Recap -Down the Rabbit Hole 13

Hectic week, there are reams of tweets and articles strewn on the cutting floor. However, if there was one key personal take away from this week in crypto, it would be that smart contracts have a very long way to go before being fully ready for widespread business adoption. Truthfully, I thought we were further along but having listened to the CEO of Chainlink discuss the current state of play I’ve had to reset my expectations for smart contract deployment in the broader economy. It will still happen but further out.

I also found myself re-evaluating the status and role of the EOS mainchain in the light of recent sister and private chain launches as explored in the EOS Weekly video. Oh and machine learning, picked up a thing or two there. I could go on but why spoil the surprise….

Twitter & Reddit (cryptos current meta-brains) / Medium / Trybe / Hackernoon / Whaleshares and so on/ YouTube / various podcasts and whatever else I stumble upon. The aim is a useful weekly aggregator of ideas rather than news. Though I try to keep the sources current – I’ll reference these articles and podcasts etc. as I encounter them – they may have been published just a couple of days ago or in some cases quite a bit earlier.
