Welcome to TIMM (Traders’ & Investors’ Mentor Market)!
We’re glad you’re here and hope that you make TIMM your sort of home away from home, or perhaps your financial analysis stomping ground. There’s plenty of room for as many people as want to to get involved and in many different ways.
A Free Market for Analysts
The concept of TIMM is fairly straightforward. Some people are good analysts, but do not have the skills or know-how to share their insights in a marketable way. Others are looking, but struggle to find analysts they can trust. And, of course, there are a whole lot of folks in the middle somewhere.
By providing the tools analysts need to share their insights in a central location, TIMM becomes a market where traders and investors can shop for the insights they’re looking for. And by making it a free-market solution, the readers get to decide which Mentors are best and seek out their services. It might help you to understand TIMM’s philosophy better by reading the Why TIMM? page here in our about section.
This is why we tout “Uniting experts and novices for mutual profit!”
The tools provided include blogs for Mentors and Premium Members. You can see the Mentors listed under the “Mentors” tab in the topbar menu. Premium Members’ blogs are not listed anywhere yet, but we plan on doing so eventually. You can click on any of the Mentors and see what they have to say. If you subscribe to their services, this is where you’ll also see their premium blogs.
The Trading Pits are, in some ways, the main meeting place for TIMM. Here you will see folks sharing insights and asking questions about markets. Some Mentors are very active there, while others seldom visit. It can be a good place to get to know them.
The Trading Pits have various features. If you go to the main pits, you’ll see the free interaction where any Member can engage. It’s a constant stream of TIMM’s activities, including articles. Feel free to hop in and offer your perspective or ask questions. There is also the Trading Floor, for our Premium Members. Until we reach 100 paying members, this section is available to everyone. Once that number is reached, it’ll be closed to non-paying members. And you’ll also find the Mentors’ pits here as well, all of which require subscriptions to access. These are accessible by permission from the specific Mentor right now though. If you’re interested, ask one to let you in to see what they’re about.
TIMM also has forums. These aren’t filled out for you. It’ll be up to the community to decide how valuable they are and whether or not to fill out the various options. These also have membership levels, so you may need to subscribe to various services for access. For instance, the Mentors each have their own forums where they can manage and post whatever they want.
TIMM is integrated with the Steem blockchain. Articles published on the home page are also published to Steem, providing multiple points of access as well as upvoting potential. So you can reward any author by upvoting their content if you have a Steem account. Regardless, you can still comment and offer your perspective, insight or gratitude under each article.
To upvote or comment through the Steem integration, simply scroll down to where the comment box labeled “Powered by SteemPress” is. You can log in there to upvote and comment on the blockchain. Otherwise, scroll down just a little further to make local comments. The author will see it either way.
If this interests you and you don’t have a Steem account yet, we can help there too. There are a couple of options. The easiest and quickest is probably to go through Steem.Ninja (can use credit card), AnonSteem (anonymous/cryptos only) or Steemfounders (introduce yourself), where you can buy one and have it all set up very quickly. Another project to help you is Steem onboarding. While setting up an account through them may not be quite as convenient as the others, they have set up introductory tutorials to help you learn about blockchain and Steem in particular. We highly recommend their services, even if you don’t get your account from them.
This isn’t all there is to TIMM, but it does give you some insight into what makes TIMM tick and how you might get involved. We invite you to register and jump right in. Don’t be shy.
