Rules of Conduct

TIMM

Dear Members,

TIMM is here for you to enjoy getting to know your fellow Traders, share trading ideas, ask questions and offer services. To ensure that TIMM remains as pleasant an experience as possible, we have instituted the following rules. Please observe them while in the community.

Thank you,

Trading Community Rules

No nudity:

This includes links to nude photos or pornographic websites etc…

No harassing other users:

Harassing other users in any way or form is strictly prohibited. TIMM strives to maintain an friendly and congenial environment.

No fighting or Name Calling:

While encouraging friendly disagreement, name calling or defaming the character of other Members is not allowed. If you have a personal issue to discuss with a member, please take it private.

Please do not disrupt flow of discussion:

Interrupting the flow of the Trading Pits or webinars with the use of large fonts, repetitive typing or other forms of flooding is strongly discouraged since it makes it hard for other Members to continue their conversation.

No racial, religious, political, or sexually inflammatory language:

Demographic prejudice of any kind will not be tolerated. Please treat other members with respect as much as you want to be respected.

No advertising other websites or businesses:

Absolutely no spamming! No advertising of competing websites or services will be allowed unless granted permission to do so (In WRITING). Links can be included when relevant to the discussion, but not as an attempt to draw people to the link.

No illegal activity

Any activities on this site that are illegal in your own country, state or community are not allowed. Please be aware that such activities within this site may be provided as transcripts to authorities.

No impersonating other members:

Changing your chat name or creating another account to impersonate other members is strictly prohibited. Presenting yourself as a personality other than yourself (including famous or popular individuals) is likewise prohibited.

No defaming TIMM

TIMM will not stand for someone defaming the organization, owners, moderators, independent contractors, Members, Mentors and/or employees. This is NOT to say that someone cannot post disagreement about a trade or idea.  We encourage the free flow of ideas even if they are counter to our own, BUT we are not offering this service as a method for someone to air grievances.

Any issues with the website should be handled directly with a TIMM representative via Private Message or preferably email (Support@MentorMarket.io). Any issues with your Mentor subscription should be handled between you and your Mentor. In inflammatory situations Members are not only subject to being banned but TIMM may take measures available to remedy the issue and protect itself and its Members/Mentors.

If you are harassed in any way or see someone breaking the chat room rules, please PM a Moderator or Administrator, and inform them of the situation.

If you are found breaking the rules, TIMM reserves the right to ban members for a period of time ranging from 1 hour to lifetime. Banned members will not receive any refunds to their unused membership.

Please don’t post private contact information:

This is more advice or a guideline than a real rule. It’s just wise. We ask that you do not give out personal information, e-mail address, phone numbers and home addresses in any of the public areas. If you do so, you do this at your own risk and release TIMM from any and all liability.

If you are banned from TIMM:

If you have been banned, chances are good that you violated a major rule, violated multiple rules or continued to violate any given rule after being asked to stop or otherwise warned.

A moderator should explain to you before or after you are banned exactly why you were banned, unless it is felt that you were apparently willfully violating TIMM’s rules.

At all points TIMM reserves the right to block any member’s access for being determined to be in violation of the stated rules and regulations, or if a member is felt to be a threat to the flow and/or environment of the community.

Before you post:

When you are preparing a post, whether it’s an article, post in the Trading Pits, a comment or a reply, it’s a great practice to ask yourself how your words could be understood. We tend to write what we are thinking and expect others to understand the tenor of our thoughts. But sometimes another person’s context, use of language or other factors may give them a perception you didn’t intend. It’s wise to spend a little time reflecting on words that could be taken wrong or in a way that could cause undue harm.

The goal of every post should be to help others in the community. Sometimes it’s idle chatter, but usually it’s instructional or seeking knowledge. As much as you’re able, please strive to be a blessing to others in the community.
